Blue

Well tomorrow we're off to NY for my (2nd)  test....not sure when I'll get the results..........so I haven't been that nervous.  Now that the day is tomorrow I'm getting a bit nervous and once the blood is drawn I will be VERY nervous until the results come.   I will stop counting them eventually. 

Oh well.....thank God for God!  I don't know how I'd do it otherwise.

Blue Recipes

Blueberry Protein Pancakes

Mix one scoop natural whey protein isolate with 5 egg whites until combined. Add half cup rolled oats, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 teaspoons of sugar. When thoroughly mixed, add in 10 fresh blueberries. Pour batter in a pre-heated pan and flip when golden brown around the edges. Makes 2 pancakes.

Cheap Trick Tuesday- Blueberries

Well it's blueberry season and you can stock up and freeze up all the blueberries you can get your hands on.
Right now at Weis Markets- Blueberries are BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!

What's nice about blueberries is that it's pretty simple to freeze them and then use then in smoothies and other recipes.  There is a blog I like that gave a couple of good tips for freezing your blueberries:

Vegan Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Get your protein fix the vegan way. Zap yourself a smoothie with gluten-free rice protein powder and organic frozen blueberries. Antioxidants never tasted so good. Change ingredients accordingly to suit your own allergenic persuasion.

For one smoothie:

3/4 cup ice cold gluten-free almond milk

2/3 cup frozen blueberries- organic, if possible

2 tablespoons Nutribiotic Vanilla Rice Protein Powder

1 serving Stevia with fiber [Stevia Plus]*

Combine ingredients in a blender or Vita-Mix container. Cover tightly. Whip until smooth and frothy. Pour into a fancy glass. Sip.

Motivate me Monday: A Life of Blues

I love being on this planet Earth!


There are so many pretty Blues in nature to ENJOY.   SO this week if I'm not talking BLUE I ain't talking- I'm OBSESSED with BLUE!  I sometimes think I crave colors like I crave food...........weird but maybe someone else out there has the same cravings?

I'm Motivated to enjoy every bit of blue that comes my way!
