Well we all survived the bachelor party!!!Here's Rob leaving for Part II of his day!

The weekend should have been pretty relaxed for me but things change. It all started with Lucas having a hair appointment Friday night at 5:30. He wanted a fauxhawk, but was not happy when it looked nothing like the picture of Beckham! As women we all learn that it never looks like the picture, and being a hairdresser I tried to explain but he cried! SO being that I do own scissors and on occasion still do a haircut- I was up next. Thing is we had company arriving and we had to wait until morning. To make a long story short- I gave Lucas a haircut Saturday and it's a mohawk/fauxhawk. This mean he can wear it down or up (like a mohawk) no I wasn't too happy with the mohawk thing, but I weak!!!!!!!!! Also I didn't feel too bad when I seen Posh's boys are sporting fauxhawks-LOL

Now I just have to remember that I need to always cut Lucas' hair when it is dry- he has so much poker straight blonde hair- it's the only way to understand how it's going to lay.

Although I did not 1 craft- well Sunday I made a couple of PomPoms

I did buy some wedding stuff:

Things change as time goes and well my original necklace will not work so I found this one that will match my veil! I do love these earrings I found and they are clips. That's great for 2 reasons- 1. the holes in my ears are huge and 2. my grandmother never had her ears pierced and when I was young I wore her earring a lot- they will remind me of her.

When I was shopping my dear Lucas was buying a pair of gel heals and I thought.....what a great idea for my too big wedding shoes. I bought a pair of these and I hope they work. Also picked up my MAC liner and lipstick!

Last but not least I took a peak into Victoria's Secret and found this cutie for $28 so I grabbed a matching pair of panties and thighs!

I really had no idea to buy something like this but when I was shopping I came across the dress that jolted me into losing some weight.....there it sat now on the sales rack it no doubt hurt 1 too many of us. I wasn't going to but I did; I picked it up and walked it back to the fitting room. IT fit! Well I was happy- and even happier to put it back. That dress really hurt me! I finally had closure.

This brings me to my weigh-in up date. I can not lie- I struggled the whole time. I got so made at the scale I dreamed of taking it outside and smashing it. I mean it's a beautiful scale- it was gift from Rob's mom. I was just so out of my mind. There is never enough time to exercise now so I resorted to NO CARBS!!! I am now down to 110. I will gladly settle for loosing 8-9lbs over the original 10lb goal. I don't believe I can live without carbs but I will say I do feel better. I will have to learn to deal with good carbs. I would recommend no carbs to anyone looking to make a change.

Make-up!
Well I have gone for a make-up consultation and was so happy.....until I got home and my future groom said I look pale : (
Well he did say I look better when I do my own make-up.....and that I look better natural----yeah yeah. I was believing him up until the better natural look. lol

Here's a quick shot- (with me also trying on my veil)

I hate pictures of myself no matter what - but I really liked my make-up!
Dorene the designer is wonderful.
Now I must comment on my weight loss/exercise-
I'm just getting over a cold and I was so exhausted that I wasn't eating good or exercising as much.
I've decided I need to eat more than 3 meals a day and I need to make sure I have healthy food available. I still have to cook for Lucas and Rob so I need to make sure I have healthy food for me. I'm going to shoot for Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, Snack!
That sounds like a lot of food. Actually they will be small portions:

Example- Breakfast @ 6:15
2 Egg Whites, 1 slice canadian bacon

Actually took a pic this morning!

Snack: 1/4 c. fat free cottage cheese
1c fresh fruit- blueberries
Lunch: 2 diced hardboiled egg whites
2tbs lite mayo, 2 olives
1/4c. tomatoes & sprouts
on whole grain bread
Snack: fat free ranch dressing mix
veggie sticks
Dinner: 2oz lean beef
green beans w/olive oil
1 med. sweet potato
mixed salad greens with wine vinegar/olive oil
Snack:
1 c. strawberries
2 tbs fat free whipped topping
Seems pretty easy- right?
Next item for discussion:
Favors:
We were all set on carmel apples until I seen these and thought they were aborable:

I like these because they make me think of Rob.

I like carmel apples - because they are a true sign of fall and I love them.

That's all for now!

Craft News- Well I've been picking times when friends and family can get together with me and do some items for the wedding and here's what we did this weekend:
PomPoms for over the head table!
And they don't look like lettuce (see previous post for lettuce)

My future sister-in-law Becky came over and helped me with these- and Thank God! She was awesome! So precise

My mother found and ordered the huge tissue paper and was great at fluffing our poms.

My sister-in-law Nicole worked on the intials! The intials are looking great:
Is there a Doctor in the house????

Look at my great craft- impressive - huh?
Well I just wanted a bow on my cake knife to match our wedding cake...it wasn't as easy as it looks....lol
These cake knifes were super inexpensive but look good!

I also put my stickers on the lip balm I purchased to have in the ladies room at the wedding - just incase there's a girl in need of some gloss.
I love these!

Here's a few pics of some purchases:
We found these votive holders at a dollar store- we purchased enough to line our huge headtable. Found some brown and green ribbon in the sales bin- so can't have enough brown around!

Last but not least- the card I bought for Rob on our wedding day- still working on a gift.

Weight info- Lost 2lbs and feeling pretty good about myself- I guess. Have to stay positive.

Who said you lose weight before the wedding?

No I'm not the hot blonde- I'm the brunette sticking her gut out! I don't know what my problem is, but all I want to do is eat. This picture was taken a weekend ago when we were visiting Rob's parents. The blonde is Rob's sister. The good thing is that on this weekend visit I actually went jogging with Becky! Well- I went and I stopped a lot! But Becky kept me going she would let me stop for a bit and then ask to jog again. Becky was so nice about it. We then did my 8 minute abs dvd- it was great to work-out with someone.

Right now I work out alone when Rob and Lucas are sleeping usually. It's boring and lonely but I do feel the need to workout- well I'm scared about my dress!

I have dvds I alternate - but 8 minute abs is an every night must!

I must say I'm so thankful for Rob and Lucas! They help me out a lot with giving me time to workout and or joining me for a walk/jog. I love these guys!

Here they are waiting for the school bus on Lucas' 1st day of 6th grade.

Look what I got-I seen this dress walking by a Forever21 and had to get it for my next big trip..............MY HONEYMOON! I bought this dress after a bad experience with a dress earlier that day. I had to treat myself! I found the perfect dress for my rehearsal dinner. The thing was the dress was a size 8 and too small. I wanted to die. The next thought was that I will just lose the weight to fit into it, but when I asked the sales lady she acted as if that was near impossible! I almost bought the 10 but said no way, no way, no way.

So how is my diet going? Yesterday was weigh in and........I lost 1.5lbs. The ediets was hard because I didn't really look at the menu and there was a lot of prepping. So I have now gone through and choose a lot of the same meals and repeated them. I'm doing the GI diet on ediets which is good for me. I have been bad about the exercising; it's just so busy right now.

My weekend was really good Friday was just a night at home. Saturday was out of town for wedding shoes which were too big and had to go back. Sunday breakfast with Lucas' Aunt and her family, church, and then to a flea market. It was a great day to have ice cream and walk around the flea market. Plus I did get an adorable belt for cheap:

It's day 2 of my eDiets................dieting!! This is harder than I thought it would be. I love the fact that eDiets will create the diet and include a shopping list. The problem is there is a lot of food! It's all good food veggies, fruit, fish, turkey breast so my son will also eat most of those. It also include a couple of convenience items which turned out to be Lean Cuisine meals. Tonight I actually made a lot of my snacks and meals for tomorrow.

I also am given a fitness plan which I haven't done yet today. Yesterday I did do the cardio; today I'm scheduled to do cardio and resistance. On the site you actually get the exact exercise and a little animated chick to do the exercises for you.

My start weight is 115 and my goal is 105. That doesn't seem like a lot but when you are 4'11 5-10lbs is a big deal.

This is my fitness inspiration. I love Jen's bod and Vince he's just adorable and funny.
