I read this article over at Vogue
Winning Streaks: Hi-Def Hair—Without the Commitment
by Catherine Piercy

The rise of the street-style photographer—Phil Oh, Hanneli Mustaparta, Scott Schumann—as neo-fashion documentarian means that reality is as apt to influence the runway these days as the other way around. That’s certainly true in the case of haute streaks—cool, vaguely punkish washes of color first spotted in the hair of Brit stylist Katie Shillingford a few seasons back. Her ombré blue bob recently morphed into an all-over sunset-pink crop, while Opening Ceremony buyer Kate Foley’s pale-blonde hair is now faintly tinged with lavender. Designers followed suit at the recent collections, with surf- and city-inspired hues showing up in the hair at Prabal Gurung (fuchsia), Fendi (acid yellow), and Haider Ackermann (petrol blue).

“It was color, color, color,” says editorial stylist Kevin Murphy, who is offering his own brilliantly noncommittal approach to the look for spring. “If you want to make it a one-night thing, [working] a vibrant shade of loose-powder eye shadow into the hair will give you amazing color and a sexy, beachy, dry kind of texture,” he says. “The best part is, it washes out in the morning.” He recommends blow-drying hair thoroughly with a styling cream first (he’s partial to his own Kevin Murphy Anti.Gravity), to create a smooth protective base, and then sweeping on a bright powder (we like M.A.C. Pigment in Hi-Def Cyan, Green Space, and Magenta Madness) from roots to ends with your hands.
cool huh?

I'm finally getting myself a cut and color on Monday- Yahoo.........

I'm not going blonde- but all the cuts I liked were blondes- figures!

I love these loose waves

How about this new trend......static the ends of your hair and smooth down the top
It's growing on me!!

Oh and the color streaks

There is just so much with color lately- I LOVE IT ALL!!!

When winter comes I'll probably go back to my natural color and do these streaks
